Bread is the most consumed food in the world.

Especially in these times when we had 
quarantine days all over the world, making 
bread at home became more important. Everyone 
started making their own bread at home. This 
recipe is for those who want to make bread at 
home easily. Nowadays, when we have a hard 
time, you can make your own bread at home.

This easy white bread recipe cooks delicious 
golden brown. Even if you've never made 
homemade bread or worked with yeast, this 
homemade crusty artisan bread is just the 
right size. You only need 4 ingredients to 
make this delicious bread. This recipe is 
excellent. It takes about 2 hours to follow 
and gives 4 wonderful breads.

  • 1 kg flour
  • 650 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast (1 package, 10 gr)


Step 1

Pour 2 tablespoon warm water in a little bowl. Slowly stir in the dry yeast and continue to stir until all of the yeast is dissolved.

Step 2

In a large bowl or mixer, combine 1 kg white bread flour anf 650 ml water (not warm) and mix well.

Step 3

Add salt and mix 1 minute.

Step 4

Add dissolved yeast and mix 5 minutes more.

Step 5

Place dough in a bowl and coat surface with a little vegetable oil. Cover bowl with a damp kitchen towel and place in a warm spot to rise. Let rise for about 40 minutes.

Step 6

Turn out onto a floured board and knead for five more minutes. Divide dough in four pieces.

Step 7

Shape each pieces into a long 1/2-inch thick rectangle about 12 inches long. Roll up tightly starting at the long end to form a skinny loaf.

Step 8

Cover with a towel and let rise until doubled in size, 30 minute.

Step 9

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Step 10

Use a sharp knife to make a shallow slash, around 1cm deep, from one end to the other. This will help the loaf to bake and give a nice shape.

Step 11

Bake the bread for 20 to 25 minutes, until the crust is golden brown. Remove the bread from the oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
