These little cookies are easy to make. They require little time and your family will love them. Salty Cookies is usually served with tea. You can store cookies into an airtight container when they are completely cooled. Store containers at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. Here are all the ingredients you need for this delicious and salty cookies:

Ingredients

  • 2,5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg white
  • 100 gr butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1,5 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 1 egg yolk (for top)

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°C. Line baking trays with baking paper.

Step 2

In a bowl mix soft butter with sugar and salt.

Step 3

Add oil, black sesame seeds, egg white, baking powder and mix everything until combined.

Step 4

Add flour and combine until no dry spots remain.

Step 5

Take about a teaspoon sized amount of dough and shape it into a ball. Place the unbaked cookies on the cookie sheet approximately one inch apart from each other.

Step 6

Bake for 12-15 mins, or until the cookies are thoroughly baked being golden brown and crispy.
