- 6 cups water
- ½ cup rice (washed, dried)
- 2 cups of plain yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp dried mint
- 1 tsp salt
Boil rice in 6 cups of water with until it is soft.
Meanwhile in a bowl, combine the yogurt, flour, egg and beat until smooth.
After the rice is cooked, take a few spoons of liquid from the pot and mixed into the bowl.
Then slowly pour your mixture into the pot while stirring very slowly. It's important that you start with low heat, otherwise yogurt would curdle.
Give yogurt some time to get used to heat.
Cook on low heat for approximately 15 minutes and keep stirring.
Heat butter in a pan. When it begins spitting, add mint and stir for 20-30 seconds (don't let it burn). Then, pour it into your soup. Add salt before serving.
