Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • ½ cup rice (washed, dried)
  • 2 cups of plain yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dried mint
  • 1 tsp salt

Method

Step 1

Boil rice in 6 cups of water with until it is soft.

Step 2

Meanwhile in a bowl, combine the yogurt, flour, egg and beat until smooth.

Step 3

After the rice is cooked, take a few spoons of liquid from the pot and mixed into the bowl.

Step 4

Then slowly pour your mixture into the pot while stirring very slowly. It's important that you start with low heat, otherwise yogurt would curdle.

Step 5

Give yogurt some time to get used to heat.

Step 6

Cook on low heat for approximately 15 minutes and keep stirring.

Step 7

Heat butter in a pan. When it begins spitting, add mint and stir for 20-30 seconds (don't let it burn). Then, pour it into your soup. Add salt before serving.
