“Mücver” is a Turkish zucchini pancake/fritter recipe. Turkish Zucchini Fritters Recipe is served with yogurt. This wonderful vegetarian fritters are very tasty and good idea for summer.
- 4 zucchini (grated)
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 4 green (spring) onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 bunch dill, finely chopped
- 5 tablespoons all purpose (plain) white flour
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Canola oil (or sunflower oil) for frying
Grate zucchini and using a tea towel squeeze out excess water.
Place zucchini in a large bowl.
Mix well all the ingredients except for flour and frying oil.
Add flour in slowly and mix well.
In a frying pan, heat enough oil to fry.
Using a tablespoon, drop the spoonfuls of batter mix into the hot oil.
Fry them on each sides until golden brown.
Drain fritters on paper towels and serve with yogurt.
You may serve Turkish Zucchini Fritters hot or cold. Enjoy!
